The best of the best – an absolute hero!

A Georgia firefighter caught a baby tossed from the second floor of a burning building as a desperate father acted on a last ditch effort to escape a building ablaze.

DeKalb County firefighter Robert Sutton was at the right place at the right time when he and his fellow firemen responded to a fire at an apartment complex on Wednesday.

Sutton effortlessly caught the child after telling the father “drop him.”

“He was a little guy, so when I heard his father yelling ‘Help’, and saw him hanging out the window with the baby in his arms, I just went into action. I just did what any of the other firefighters out here would have done,” Sutton told Fox 5’s Portia Bruner earlier this week.

Larry Carter, a plumber in the area at the time of the fire, recorded the entire thing on his phone.
