Mrs. Louise Edenfield Brown 80, of Metter died Friday January 1, 2016, at Azalea Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a native of Candler County having lived here all of her life. She was a member of Cobbtown United Methodist Church. She retired from Edenfield’s Restaurant having worked for Jessie Edenfield for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gospel sings, and was a former member of the Tattnall County Red Hatters. She is predeceased by her parents Norman and Zellie Edenfield, husband Julian “Red” Brown, and 1 brother Gordon Edenfield.

She is survived by daughter Polly Humphrey of Metter, son Larry (Kim) Edenfield of Junction City, Kansas; and sister Jo Ann Edwards of Mobile Alabama. Also surviving are grandchildren Lacey Humphrey of Metter, Britt Humphrey of Montgomery County, GA. Kimberly Edenfield of Washington State, Andy Edenfield of Alaska, and Jason Humphrey of Cobbtown. 3 great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 12:00pm until time of the service, at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday January 6, 2016 at 2:00pm from the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.

Burial will be at the Lake Cemetery in Metter.
