The fire sparked by a lightning strike in early April has engulfed over 220 square miles of land and as the days continue to get longer, firefighters – locally and from around the state – are in need of supplies to help the keep going.
More than 700 firefighters are now taking turns in battling the blaze. The #WestMimsFire (follow the hashtag on Facebook and Twitter) on the Florida/Georgia line has burned 140K acres and is just 12% contained. Half of Charlton County, GA has been evacuated.

If you’re in close proximity to Kingsland, St. Marys & Camden County – ANY FIRE DEPARTMENT in the county will deliver goods dropped off
